Ted Crowther, BA, DC, FCCS(C)
Dr.
Crowther earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Wilfrid Laurier
University, his Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial
Chiropractic College and his Fellowship from the College of
Chiropractic Sciences, Canadian Chiropractic Association. He is
currently an Associate Professor and Director of Clinical Education at
Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and a Faculty member of the
Institute of Evidence-Based Chiropractic.
At
Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College Dr. Crowther has been Chief of
Staff at the HK Lee Teaching Clinic; Member of the Curriculum Steering
Committee; Member of the Institutional Review Board; and Chair, of the
Clinic Education Committee. Dr. Crowther serves as Chiropractic
Consultant to the following: Multi-Disciplinary Assessment Teams,
Hamilton Hospitals Assessment Centre; Columbia Comprehensive
Rehabilitation Centre; and Scarborough-North Multi-Disciplinary
Assessment Centre.
Dr. Crowther’s original research and review articles have been
published in New England Journal of Medicine, Spine and Journal of
Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, and he has authored
several book chapters. He has membership in the College of Chiropractic
Sciences (Canada), New York State Chiropractic Association, American
Back Society, Hamilton Chiropractic Society, Ontario Chiropractic
Association, Canadian Chiropractic Association and Canadian Memorial
Chiropractic College.
Dr. Crowther is a member of the Admissions Committee for Canadian
Memorial Chiropractic College; Consultant to the Scientific Advisory
Board of the Canadian Chiropractic Association; serves on the Advisory
Committee of Hamilton Hospitals Assessment Centre; and is an
Independent Insurance Consultant for the Ontario Chiropractic
Association. He has been an invited lecturer to numerous medical and
chiropractic organizations and is an Editorial Board Member and
Publications Committee Member for the Journal of the Canadian
Chiropractic Association. Dr. Crowther is licensed in the United States
and Canada and has practiced in Ontario for 18 years.
